From 1 to 8 April 2026, the Sala Duce in Palazzo Ducale, Sassari, presents "Chronotypes", a solo exhibition of works by Domenico Dore curated by Antonio Ottavio Cattari and Luca Poddighe. The show examines the relationship between space and time through the recurring motif of the still life.
The paintings on display convey different ways of experiencing time — moments of pause, escape and transformation — translated into images that reveal tensions, longings and vulnerability. The title derives from the idea of the chronotope, reinterpreted here to highlight the plurality of temporalities and perspectives in Dore's practice.
The opening takes place on 1 April at 17:30 in the Sala Duce. The reception will feature a harp performance by Beatrice Melis and gastronomic collaborations with Cantina Mario Bagella and the Accademia Culinaria del Coros led by Fausto Tavera.
This exhibition is part of the program promoted by Associazione Ars Aurelia and forms part of the lead-up events to the "Nessun Dorma" Festival 2026.
