Dinosardo: Dinosaurs and Fossils in Milis, Sardinia

Autore: Redazione 31/08/2025 15:49

In the heart of the Oristano area, in Milis, there’s a place that takes visitors on a real journey back in time — millions of years into the past. It’s called Dinosardo, the paleontological park dedicated to the prehistoric giants that once ruled the Earth.

Here, visitors can admire life-sized reconstructions of dinosaurs and other extinct animals, crafted with impressive scientific accuracy. Among the most popular attractions are the majestic T-Rex, the Triceratops, and enormous sauropods, which create an immersive and exciting experience, especially for children.

Next to the main installations, the park offers educational workshops and interactive activities designed for schools and families. Young paleontologists can take part in simulated digs, discovering hidden fossils in the sand and learning the basics of paleontology in a fun, hands-on way.

Dinosardo is not just a theme park — it’s also an educational project aimed at spreading knowledge about the history of life on Earth. Informative panels, expert guides, and engaging scientific activities make every visit both entertaining and instructive for all ages.

With green areas, picnic zones, and refreshment points, the park is also an ideal place to spend a relaxing day outdoors. It stands out as one of the most original attractions in Sardinia, combining the magic of dinosaurs with the wonder of scientific discovery.
