“Italian cuisine as World Heritage”: two days in San Ginesio

The Municipality of San Ginesio will host, on 25 and 26 April 2026 at the Sant’Agostino Monumental Complex, the event “Italian cuisine as World Heritage”, a programme combining tradition, research and territorial development to underscore the Marche region’s role in Italy’s food culture.

• Friday 25 April, 17:00: academic and technical contributions, historical telegraphy demonstrations and an exhibition dedicated to Marconi; exhibition area with vintage tractors and local food stands.
• Saturday 26 April, 09:30: institutional conference addressing radio waves in the Marche, the relationship between labour and economic transformation, and food research focused on health protection; speakers from institutions, universities and sector associations.
• Public services: free entry; a catering point will offer tastings of Marche specialities throughout the event.

The initiative aims to connect communication technologies, agricultural excellence and cultural practices to promote intangible heritage and sustainable territorial development linked to the recognition of Italian cuisine.
