Corinaldo brings back Festa dei Folli 2026

From 24 to 26 April 2026 the village of Corinaldo (Ancona) revives the thirteenth edition of the Festa dei Folli. The festival turns stairways, squares and alleys into a distributed creative lab focused on participation, reuse and environmental awareness, with activities for families, children and culture enthusiasts.

Organised by the association Combusta Revixi together with local partners, the event aims to combine play, craftsmanship and territorial discovery through a varied programme that balances entertainment and reflection.

• “Colori di Primavera” market on Via del Corso, showcasing local crafts;
• “Where is Valerio” in Piazza Il Terreno, a play area made from natural and reclaimed materials;
• Pedal Carousel in Piazza X Agosto by RiCiclo, a sustainable amusement installation;
• Cultural sessions and activities including Laughter Yoga and a talk by historian Matteo Petracci on the Partisans Overseas;
• Environmental outreach projects such as “Un Pianeta da Salvare” and the screening of the documentary “Va’ dove ti porta il Festival”;
• Guided walks and routes with PerTerra APS to explore the Marche hills and the village landscape.

The Festa dei Folli remains an opportunity to celebrate Corinaldo's identity — also through the town's traditional “madmen” figures — while testing more sustainable festival models. Entry conditions vary by event; check the local programme for schedules and practical information.
