COMICON OFF returns: the off‑Festival fills Naples

From 10 April to 31 May 2026 Naples hosts the new edition of COMICON OFF, the off‑Festival of COMICON that transforms the city into a laboratory of pop culture, visual arts and participation, involving municipalities, museums, libraries and cultural spaces.

• Alta frequenza: events across the municipalities and historic sites such as Palazzo Cavalcanti and the Metropolitan Art Stations.
• In città: events at cultural institutes, theatres, universities, bookstores and galleries (including Instituto Cervantes, Galleria HDE Martucci, Teatro Bellini, Museo Zoologico, Casa del Cinema).
• Oltre i confini: an extension of the programme into the province and surrounding areas.

Highlighted in the programme is the exhibition Robert Crumb. Cattivi pensieri, on show at Castel Nuovo / Maschio Angioino from 27 May to 31 August 2026. The retrospective features a broad selection from the artist’s archive, from Zap Comix and Weirdo to recent works like Tales of Paranoia. The exhibition is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00–18:00. Castle + exhibition ticket: full €15, reduced for residents of the Metropolitan City of Naples €10.

COMICON OFF aims to strengthen the connection between the festival and the territory, promoting accessible and participatory cultural programming with a wide range of exhibitions, workshops, concerts and talks for audiences of all ages. For the full programme visit: comicon.it.
