A park where you can meet kangaroos and ostriches, walk past an ancient ship’s tree, climb aboard a giant rocket, or get lost among fairy-tale worlds. It’s not a dream — it’s Città della Domenica, Umbria’s very first Family Park, a place where nature, play, and imagination coexist in harmony across 45 hectares of panoramic greenery, just a few minutes from Perugia.
Born as a pioneering project in the 1960s, today Città della Domenica remains an unmissable destination for families with children, animal lovers, and curious visitors of all ages.
A world of animals: from fairy tales to reptiles
At the heart of the park lies its wildlife trail, home to native animals roaming in semi-freedom such as fallow deer, badgers, and foxes, alongside exotic species like wallabies, meerkats, antelopes, bison, and even yaks.
Among the most beloved residents is Burro, the White Donkey of Asinara, the park’s mascot and symbol of its commitment to endangered species conservation.
Not to be missed is the Reptile House, one of the largest in Europe, featuring snakes, turtles, crocodiles, and an interactive educational trail suitable for both children and adults (included in the ticket).
Attractions of the West, fantasy, and engines
The park is a journey through time and imagination: visitors can move from Sleeping Beauty’s Castle to the School of Magic, from Snow White’s House to Pinocchio’s Village, before meeting cowboys, Native Americans, and sheriffs in the western area with Fort Apache, Ponte Matto, go-karts, and bumper boats (the latter available at an additional cost).
On “orange days”, don’t miss the falconry shows and live western performances, a highlight for visitors of all ages.
Opening hours and ticket prices
The park is open from 9:30 a.m. until sunset, with all attractions active on weekends, public holidays, and throughout the summer season.

Città della Domenica is a park where every visit feels different from the last — and where, between a deer crossing the path and a historic locomotive, even adults get to feel like children again.
