Catania is set for a weekend and an extended period of cultural events ranging from literature to Etna excursions, involving historic palaces, squares and the villages of the Riviera dei Ciclopi.

• Catania Book Festival (24–26 April 2026): the sixth edition gathers more than 300 guests at the Palazzo della Cultura (via Vittorio Emanuele 119) with book presentations, workshops and panels, with notable attention to poetry and public participation.
• Spring Festival (25 April – 31 May 2026): a distributed program between Acitrezza and Acicastello, featuring musical events, family activities and themed appointments in the Riviera dei Ciclopi villages.
• Palazzo Biscari: special openings of the private wing with guided tours and a concert in the Salone delle Feste, combining art, music and gastronomy in a baroque setting.
