Carpegna Park Family Adventure Mountain: an adventure for the whole family in the Marche region

Autore: Redazione 01/08/2025 14:17

Among the forests of Monte Carpegna, in the heart of the Marche region, lies the Carpegna Park Family Adventure Mountain — a park designed for both families with children and outdoor enthusiasts. Every summer, it attracts hundreds of visitors eager to experience a new way of living the mountain.

An Adventure Park of Ziplines and Suspended Bridges

The main attraction of Carpegna Park is its Adventure Park, featuring 12 courses — Easy, Fun, and Pro — complete with Tibetan bridges, suspended tunnels, ziplines, and even a flying bicycle that glides from one tree to another.

The cutting-edge CLIC-IT safety system, designed to be completely error-proof, ensures maximum protection for all, including the youngest adventurers.

The fun begins with the children’s courses (minimum height 95 cm), perfect for building confidence, and progresses to more challenging routes reaching up to 10 meters high, ideal for teens, adults, and aspiring Tarzans.

The Fairy Forest

But Carpegna Park isn’t only about adrenaline — it’s also about wonder and imagination.

Every Sunday, fairies, elves, and gnomes guide visitors through the Fairy Forest, a theatrical, sensory, and creative experience featuring costumes, magical workshops, and the crafting of one’s own “fairy door.”

Through ancient legends and enchanting tales, guests discover the House of the Fairies, listen to stories of Fata Cerrina, and learn the magical alphabet of the Little Folk.

The Disc Trail – Rediscovering Analog Play

Another hit with younger visitors (and not only them) is the Disc Trail: by purchasing a simple wooden disc, children can make it roll down forest chutes, chasing it from station to station while overcoming fun skill challenges.

It’s a joyful, screen-free outdoor experience, perfect for rediscovering the value of traditional play in nature.

Hiking, Relaxation, and the Flavors of Montefeltro

For those eager to connect with nature, Carpegna Park offers access to hiking and cycling trails that cross vast oak forests all the way to the Sassi Simone and Simoncello peaks.

With the option to rent child carriers or e-bikes (from €40), visitors can enjoy guided excursions amid pristine air and wildlife — a setting so pure that the Municipality of Carpegna has earned the Transparent Flag for environmental quality.

And after the adventure? A stop at the Rifugio dei Sapori is a must. Here you can savor local specialties such as the renowned Carpegna DOP ham, artisanal cured meats, and km-zero flatbreads, all served on rustic wooden tables overlooking the forest. Alternatively, you can enjoy a picnic on the meadow, either by reserving a family gourmet basket or bringing your own lunch.

The park is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (until 7:00 p.m. in summer). Entry to the forest is free — payment is only required for activities.
