We are in Cartigliano, in the province of Vicenza, where the Cappeller Fauna Park extends over 40,000 square meters of green space — an ideal destination for families, school groups, or anyone passionate about nature who wishes to get closer to plants and animals.

What the Park Offers

Inside the park, visitors can encounter hundreds of animal species from all continents, including monkeys, ostriches, kangaroos, hoofed animals, and birds of prey — each one living in its own carefully reconstructed natural habitat, designed to ensure the greatest possible well-being of the animals.

The park also includes a botanical garden area, featuring more than 500 species of trees, shrubs, climbers, and hedges, arranged to recreate ideal environments for wildlife while offering visitors an engaging and scenic experience.

But this is not just any wildlife park — within its grounds lies the Dinosaur Zone, with life-size reconstructions of both predators and armored herbivores that once roamed the Earth. This section offers an educational trail that explains the evolution of these prehistoric creatures.

Visitors can also access the Cappeller Museum, a two-story natural history museum featuring exhibitions on fauna and geology, for an additional ticket fee.

• By car: set your GPS to Via Marabelli (or Via Mirabelli), Cartigliano (VI).
