Cala Brandinchi: the Caribbean paradise of Sardinia

Autore: Redazione 27/08/2025 11:42

For those visiting Sardinia, Cala Brandinchi, located near San Teodoro on the northeastern coast, is an unmissable stop. It's a breathtaking beach, often called "Little Tahiti" for its turquoise sea and beautiful fine sand.

It is a must-see for anyone seeking beauty and relaxation in Sardinia, even if getting there and booking is not simple. The sea is truly a dream. The waters of Cala Brandinchi are crystalline, shallow, and clear, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and families with children, offering an experience that resembles the tropics without leaving Italy.

The nature is unspoiled, and the biodiversity is spectacular. The view of Tavolara Island in the distance adds a scenic touch. Cala Brandinchi is perfect for relaxation, offering activities like kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Nearby trails also allow for excursions toward Capo Coda Cavallo.

As mentioned, however, booking for Cala Brandinchi is not simple; in fact, the beach is not freely accessible, and you need to book on the municipal website to visit. There are 1,476 spots, and you must log on to the site at 6 p.m. two days beforehand, although even then it will be difficult. Logging in a few minutes early will help with the booking process.

It is very close to San Teodoro, which also allows for a small stop there to taste some local dishes, or to enjoy the nightlife at Ambra or Luna. Cala Brandinchi allows you to discover a side of Sardinia that feels like a bubble of paradise.
