Cala Bianca: Italy's most beautiful beach is in Cilento

Autore: Redazione 21/08/2025 17:22

Marina di Camerota is home to one of Italy's most beautiful and pristine beaches: Cala Bianca. We are in the province of Salerno, in the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. This timeless place offers crystal clear sea and a rarefied atmosphere, and is one of the few places in Campania that has remained untouched.

Getting there is not easy, but that's part of the adventure. The only way to reach it is by sea or along a path that starts from Pozzallo beach, a truly difficult route that takes about 40 minutes to reach this hidden cove made of bright white pebbles that reflect the emerald green waters of the sea.

Here you will find no expensive beach resorts, no bars, no kiosks: only nature. This is what makes Cala Bianca so special. Relaxation is absolute because Cala Bianca is not for those who love mass tourism, but rather for those who love to contemplate nature in its deepest form. Arriving by sea is a different experience: boats and taxi boats depart from the port of Marina di Camerota during the day.

The village of Marina di Camerota itself is a real spectacle and offers everything you need to complete the experience. While there are no bars or kiosks at Cala Bianca, Marina di Camerota is a lively place where you can find everything you need.

The real experience, however, is on the beach, which is one of the most beautiful in Italy: in 2013, Legambiente proclaimed it the most beautiful beach in Italy. Despite this, it is still a hidden treasure and not everyone knows about the spectacle that the beach has to offer.

Cala Bianca is not just a beach, but an invitation to slow down and discover the pleasures that nature has to offer; it is a corner of paradise that still knows how to preserve its soul.
