Aquafan – The Famous Water Park (and More) of Riccione

Autore: Redazione 01/08/2025 13:15

If there’s a place that has embodied the vibrant spirit of summer on the Riviera for over 30 years, it’s undoubtedly Aquafan. Located on the hills of Riccione, just steps away from the A14 motorway, Europe’s most famous water park returns for the 2025 season with new attractions, major music events, and endless nights of fun — between waves, slides, and pure energy.

Record-Breaking Slides and 280 Degrees of Adrenaline

Among more than 20 water attractions, several are true monuments to thrill-seekers. The brand-new M280, with a 280-meter multi-sensory course, promises a journey through half-pipes, light tunnels, and multi-track slides, lasting a full 280 seconds. For those who crave darkness and speed, there’s the legendary Black Hole — 208 meters of descent through a pitch-black tube, with a 19.5-meter drop and 22 tons of pure steel fun.

For a more relaxing experience, you’ll find the Wave Pool, the Lazy River, and dedicated kids’ zones like Arca Beach, Antarctic Beach, and the Elephant Pool, all designed to welcome families, expectant mothers, and visitors with reduced mobility. Everything is nestled within a 90,000 m² green oasis, complete with six botanical trails and shaded picnic areas.

Exclusive Events: Music and Stars Until Late Night

Aquafan isn’t just about water — it’s about music, festivals, and nightlife. From July to August, the highly anticipated “The Long Sunset” format returns, keeping the park open until 11:30 PM for eight special evenings. On the Wave Pool stage, artists such as Clara, Sarah Toscano, Mida, and Grelmos will perform, alongside guests from X Factor and the Maxibon Music Wave.

There’s also room for iconic DJ sets, featuring the legendary Walky Cup nightclub, which launched stars like Jovanotti and Fiorello, and has hosted global icons such as David Guetta, Sfera Ebbasta, and Avicii.
