In a region that offers sea, mountains, and hills within just an hour’s distance, the Onda Blu Water Park stands out as one of the most popular summer destinations in Central Italy. Located just a few kilometers from the Abruzzo Adriatic coast, this water park has become, over the years, a true landmark for families, young people, and school groups seeking a day filled with water, sunshine, and fun.
Main attractions
Spanning over 120,000 square meters, the park boasts a wide variety of attractions designed to satisfy all ages. From toddlers playing safely in baby pools with mini slides, to thrill-seekers diving headfirst down the Crazy Kamikaze — 150-meter slides with a 30% gradient — Onda Blu is a real city of water.
A crowd favorite is the wave pool, brought to life at regular intervals by the ringing of a bell, signaling the start of powerful artificial waves that make you feel like you’re in the ocean.
All around, slides of every shape and color wind through the park: lovers of tunnel descents can take on the Blue Hole, while those who enjoy twisting curves can challenge themselves on the Twist or the Boa Drop, to be faced strictly on an inflatable raft.
There’s also space for relaxation: a large sunbathing area is equipped with loungers and umbrellas (available for rent), while a hydromassage pool offers a few minutes of peace from the excitement. The park also features well-maintained green areas, perfect for finding shade between one ride and the next.
Ticket prices
So, how much does a day in this aquatic world cost? Prices are quite reasonable: the full-day ticket ranges between €23 and €25 (depending on the month), with discounts for children up to 140 cm, seniors over 65, and companions of guests with disabilities.
Afternoon tickets (from 2:00 p.m. onward) cost €18, while children under 1 meter tall enter for free. Aside from parking (€5) and optional rentals for umbrellas and lockers, there are no hidden costs.
Opening hours
The 2025 season officially began on June 14 and will continue until August 31, with the park open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Inside, you’ll find several food options, from snack bars serving sandwiches and pizzas to a panoramic self-service restaurant, perfect for enjoying lunch with a view of the slides and pools.
How to get there
Getting to the park is easy: it’s located along State Road 16 at Tortoreto Lido, easily reachable by car from anywhere along the Abruzzo coast and even from southern Marche.
For those arriving by train, the nearest station is Giulianova, connected to the park by taxis and private shuttle services.
