AGOGHÉ: research, excavations and archaeological museums – presentation in Pisa

The Gipsoteca of Ancient Art and the Antiquarium at the University of Pisa host the presentation of the latest issues of the journal AGOGHÉ. Part of the Amico Museo 2026 programme, the event brings together editors and scholars to present studies on Roman urban building, university plaster cast collections and accessibility technologies for museums.

Programme

  • 11:00 – 11:45: introduction by Anna Anguissola and Salvatore Vitale (journal editors), Letizia Gualandi (editorial manager) and Maurizio Iacono. Remarks by the volumes' editors.
  • 12:00 – 13:00: seminar "Temporary exhibitions in antiquity" by Elena Calandra (Professor of Classical Archaeology and Director of the Archaeology Museum, University of Pavia).

The session will present: AGOGHÉ XIX (Roman and late antique urban building), AGOGHÉ XX-XXI (Writings in honour of Agrigento Cultural Capital 2025) and AGOGHÉ XXII (University plaster cast collections: new technologies for accessibility).
