Acqua Village Follonica: between Hawaiian waves and tropical vibes

A true corner of tropical paradise in the heart of Tuscany’s Maremma — this is how Acqua Village Follonica presents itself, crowned Water Park of the Year 2023 at the Parksmania Awards, the Italian amusement industry’s equivalent of the Oscars. More than just a water park, it is a fully themed Hawaiian village, where fun meets breathtaking scenery made of hand-carved totems, palm trees, and tiki atmospheres.

Attractions

The park’s symbol is Apo – The Ring Slide, a 14-meter-high adrenaline-pumping giant that sweeps visitors into a vortex among mysterious ruins and tiki warriors. This award-winning attraction has become a must-try for thrill-seekers across Europe.

Next to Apo are the park’s other iconic rides: Naheka, the Serpent Slide, which surprises with dark passages, and Ukulele by Foodness, a musical descent that ends with a playful jingle and little surprises for the luckiest guests.

Speed lovers will find plenty of excitement in timeless classics such as Kamikaze, Anaconda, and Surfing Hill, slides designed to defy gravity and deliver pure bursts of adrenaline.

Kauai and Makai: the islands of relaxation

Acqua Village Follonica isn’t only about thrills and adventure. Those looking to unwind can let themselves be rocked by the waves of Kauai, the Island of Waves, a spectacular pool where the moving water simulates the sea, watched over by gigantic tiki totems.

For an even more relaxing experience, there is Makai, the Island of Wellness, an oasis dedicated to hydromassage pools, waterfalls, and revitalizing water games, where tropical magic meets the pleasure of complete relaxation.

A park for everyone — even the little ones

Special attention is given to children, the true stars of Moku, the Island of Kids: a colorful, safe area with tailor-made slides, aquatic playgrounds, and water sprays that turn every moment into fun and discovery.

Starting June 14, 2025, Acqua Village Follonica will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Full ticket (ages 12–69): €26 (full day) – €21 (afternoon from 2:30 p.m.)
• Reduced ticket (ages 3–11): €21 (full day) – €16 (afternoon)
• Children 0–2 years and visitors over 70: free admission
• Additional services: sunbeds, umbrella boxes, and lockers €4 each
• Outdoor parking free, covered parking €4
