During the weekend of March 21–22 the FAI Delegation in Sassari recorded a notable outcome for local heritage promotion: more than 1,500 visitors attended the special openings and activities for the 34th edition of the FAI Spring Days.
The focal point of the program was Palazzo Lombardo, a 19th-century building overlooking Piazza d'Italia, recently returned to public use after an extensive restoration. Conservation works revealed decorative schemes and frescoes hidden for decades, restoring both historic value and contemporary functions to the palace, now hosting professional offices and event spaces.
