A hidden jewel among the Cimini mountains: the Lake Vico Nature Reserve

A true jewel is hidden in the province of Viterbo, in the heart of the Cimini mountains, one of the most fascinating areas of Lazio: this is the Lake Vico Nature Reserve. This volcanic lake is among the highest in Italy and is set in a green basin, a perfect destination for those seeking mountain nature in central Italy.
