Voghera: «La Palazzina» opens — a multifunctional centre for hospitality, inclusion and sustainable tourism

A new social cooperation hub has opened in Voghera, managed by Cooperativa 381. The centre merges tourist services with social and environmental initiatives to support community inclusion and responsible travel.

• Social campsite and equipped camper area designed for slow tourism;
• Workshops for socialisation, animation and vocational training;
• Community bike workshop to encourage sustainable mobility;
• Charging stations for cars and e-bikes powered by photovoltaic panels;
• Shared bakery as a meeting place to foster skills, reduce waste and strengthen community ties.

"La Palazzina represents a tangible space for hospitality, inclusion and sustainability," says Sara Fasani, president of Cooperativa 381. The initiative is part of the S²O.L.E. programme and was funded through the Emblematici Maggiori call by Fondazione Cariplo and the Fondazione Comunitaria della Provincia di Pavia. Located at via Palazzina 15 (off SP51 toward Retorbido), the centre aims to enhance local cultural and natural assets while creating training and employment opportunities for vulnerable people.
