Historic residences reopen, with a special program in Piedmont

From April to October numerous private historic residences will open their doors to visitors, offering guided tours, special openings and cultural events. The first available date for the season is 26 April 2026.

• 26 April 2026 – start of monthly openings (mainly on the last Sunday of the month).
• 24 May 2026 – 16th ADSI National Day: more than 400 residences open free of charge.
• 8–19 May 2026 – selected Piedmont and Aosta Valley residences participate in initiatives linked to the Turin International Book Fair.

ADSI (Association of Historic Houses of Italy) organizes a network to protect and promote castles, palaces and period villas, encouraging restoration and creating opportunities for local cultural tourism. In Piedmont, estates involved in the Pinerolese project include Casa Lajolo, Castello di Miradolo, Palazzo dei Conti di Bricherasio and Villa Giacosa Valfrè di Bonzo, which will host author talks and literary walks.

Local events coincide with national openings in some towns: in Piossasco the Festa della Luce (23–24 May) will feature exhibitions, and from 24 May to 28 June 2026 selected works will be on display. Practical information and details on individual residences are available on the ADSI website.
