Spring holiday openings: free entry and activities at Piedmont museums

For the spring holidays from 25 April to 3 May 2026, the Royal Residences and National Museums of Piedmont are presenting a programme of special openings, free admissions and educational activities aimed at families and visitors. The initiative seeks to broaden cultural offerings across the region and improve access to heritage sites.

• Villa della Regina (Turin): hosts the second edition of the QU.EEN series on the theme of travel, featuring the exhibitions "Meraviglia. Viaggio nell'arte di Ezio Gribaudo" and "Leda Melanitis" by Yiannis Melanitis. Free entry on 25 April and 3 May (national initiative #domenicalmuseo).
• Workshops and activities: on 26 April and 3 May the Villa gardens and the Padiglione dei Solinghi will host public workshops (aluminium processing, acrylic painting, life portrait, monotype printing) organised with the association PassepART-out.
• Castello di Racconigi and park: free openings on 25 April and 3 May, with activities at the Complesso della Margaria (EFFIMERA) and children's workshops on 26 April.
• Regional network: the programme is part of the regional schedule of state cultural sites in Piedmont and combines visits, exhibitions and educational offers across cities and the territory.
• "Nati con la Cultura" project: every newborn of 2026 receives a Cultural Passport granting free museum admission for one year, encouraging families to engage with culture from early on.
