Weekend in Turin: what to do from 24 to 26 April 2026
A weekend full of cultural options fills Turin and the Piedmont region: music, Earth Day initiatives, a creative market and blooming gardens for all ages.
- Torino Jazz Festival 2026 – First festival weekend with over 100 events across 72 venues. Highlights: Saturday 25 April at 18:00 at the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi the production Il Jazz della Liberazione with Moni Ovadia and the Kassiber Ensemble; Saturday 25 at 19:00 at Osteria Rabezzana the concert Chet is back by the Felice Reggio Quartet; Sunday 26 the JST Jazz Parade departs from Piazza Palazzo di Città.
- Earth Day 2026 – On 25 April the Royal Museums’ Gardens host workshops, installations, children’s areas and an Earth Market (11:00–20:30). The event is free with accreditation and focuses on sustainability.
- Liberation Day – On 25 April Turin offers commemorations, guided visits and special openings at sites of memory, alongside cultural events and many museums with free admission.
- Free museum entries – Several cultural institutions open free on 25 April (Royal Museums, Palazzo Carignano, Villa della Regina, Gallerie d’Italia and other Piedmont sites) to celebrate heritage and memory.
- Montebello Market – Sunday 26 April in via Montebello (10:00–18:30): the creative craft market returns with 43 stalls and 12 free workshops showcasing independent makers.
- Diffusioni Olfattive – From 24 to 26 April at the National Museum of the Risorgimento: an international event on perfume culture with free lectures by reservation and a sensory exhibition route.
- Messer Tulipano – Last weekend to visit the 26th edition at the Castle of Pralormo: more than 130,000 tulips, picnic areas, floral installations and the SOLOFIORI exhibition in the Orangerie.
