The Palazzo dei Musei in Reggio Emilia hosts the collective exhibition "Voci / Voices", outcome of the 13th edition of the Giovane Fotografia Italiana — Premio Luigi Ghirri. Curated by Ilaria Campioli and Daniele De Luigi, the show presents seven projects selected from over 300 applications, mapping current practices among Italy's under-35 photographers.

Themes and approaches

The exhibited works investigate how photography gives voice to often overlooked topics: human/non-human relationships, material traces of migration, ecological crises, mourning, family memories and missing images in collective memory. The projects use varied approaches — from documentary to visual research — turning absences and fragments into visible narratives.

Awards and opportunities

The winning project receives the Premio Luigi Ghirri of €4,000 and the opportunity for a solo show at the Triennale di Milano. Additional international circulation opportunities are planned, including a special mention that features a placement at a cultural institute in Stockholm and participation in the Photo-Match programme at Fotofestiwal Łódź.
