This exhibition brings together black-and-white images and archival documents that capture the vitality and complexity of Italy's feminist movement, with a focus on Rome in the 1970s. Photographs taken during demonstrations, assemblies and intimate portraits reveal both the public activism and the personal, relational dimensions of that period.
Approximately eighty vintage photographs are on display, accompanied by archive materials. The exhibition highlights gestures, collective creativity and the claims for rights such as labor, self-determination, sexual freedom and access to abortion, inviting visitors to reflect on historical achievements and ongoing struggles.
