Strade dell’arte in Monteverde — 5th Spring edition

On April 18, 2026, Monteverde becomes a hub for contemporary creativity with the fifth edition of Strade dell’arte. For one day, galleries, artist studios, workshops and art schools open free to the public, offering exhibitions, live demonstrations and short presentations. The event connects spaces from Monteverde Vecchio to Gianicolense and Colli Portuensi along a roughly 6 km route.

What to expect

The day features group and solo shows, craft demonstrations and presentations of courses and summer activities for children. The initiative highlights both established spaces and emerging artists who are reshaping the local cultural scene. The route can be walked or navigated using public lines that link the venues.

Highlighted venues and programs

• ArtSharing Roma (via Giulio Tarra): exhibition by Bruno Melappioni, «Duplices» — a project exploring lines of reality; the exhibition continues after the event day.
• Centro Sperimentale di Fotografia Adams: photographic show on Kathmandu with morning pinhole-camera demonstrations.
• Galleria Barattolo: SALON di PRIMAVERA, a seasonal group exhibition focused on material and vision.
• Galleria Prencipe: collective show «Nei giardini del corpo» featuring several artists.
• Craft and workshop spaces: open mosaic, ceramic and textile studios with hands-on demonstrations.

About twenty spaces participate overall, hosting roughly thirty artists. A downloadable map is provided by the organizers to help visitors plan their itinerary.
