BUILDING GALLERY presents Timeless Archaeology, a solo exhibition by Vincenzo Castella curated by Marco Scotini. Installed across the gallery's three floors, the show brings together an homogeneous body of roughly sixty medium and large-format photographs that investigate industrial landscapes and visual memory from the 1980s to the present.
The exhibition highlights Castella's objective photographic approach and his notable use of color to document machinery and plants during a period of industrial transition. Many works on display are previously unseen and provide a layered reading of territorial and productive change.
Timeless Archaeology frames Castella's output as visual artifacts that record processes of transformation and collective memory. The installation juxtaposes historical pieces with recent works — including a digital series that breaks a second of time into multiple frames — to stress the exhibition's temporal dimension.
Visitor tips: allow at least one hour to view all three floors; check the gallery's official channels for any schedule updates before planning your visit.
