Pordenone 2027: a joint plan to strengthen tourism and hospitality

The Municipality of Pordenone, Consorzio Pordenone Turismo and Federalberghi have begun a coordinated effort to convert the recognition of Pordenone as Italian Capital of Culture 2027 into tangible development for the local tourism system.

The meeting outlined a package of promotional and operational measures aimed at improving the territory's visibility and provincial accommodation capacity.

• Coordinated participation in major trade fairs (Vienna Ferien Messe, BIT Milan, TTG Rimini) and promotional stops in key cities to promote the Pordenone 2027 brand.
• Collaboration with PromoTurismoFVG and organisation of educational tours for Italian and international tourism operators.
• Proposal for a dedicated "headquarters" for the Capital of Culture to serve as an information and welcome hub selling local products and branded items.
• Active involvement of municipal authorities across the province to strengthen distributed accommodation and local offerings.
• Shared public–private planning aimed at ensuring long-term benefits from the 2027 year.

As noted by the Tourism Councillor, Alberto Parigi, the support of the Consortium and Federalberghi will be "valuable to highlight the tourism dimension of this major event for the city and territory." The planned actions focus on promotion, operator engagement and authentic visitor reception to create a sustainable cultural tourism experience in 2027.
