Sea Day in Rimini: culture, guided visits and pilgrim walks over the weekend

Rimini offers a weekend focused on maritime heritage, history and walking routes: free and paid events, guided visits, boat excursions and exhibitions highlight local traditions, art and landscape.

• From Friday 10 to Sunday 12 April 2026 – Special opening of the Rimini Lighthouse (hours: Fri/Sun 9:00-12:30 and 15:00-18:30; Sat 15:00-18:30). Free entry, no booking required.
• Friday 10 April – Guided visit to the fish market and traditional fishing trades with marine biologist Gian Maria Balducci (time: 5:00-6:30). Reservation required via Rimini Blue Lab; limited places.
• Saturday 11 April – Tour of Rimini’s maritime heritage including shipyards and the canal port; boat excursions beneath the Ponte di Tiberio (booked turns, max 6 participants per turn) and opening of the “E Scaion” Museum in Viserbella.
• Sunday 12 April – Guided visits to the Amintore Galli Theatre (approx. 45 minutes; book via ticketing channels or phone 0541 793879) and the Domus of the Surgeon to see imperial-era mosaics and surgical instruments.
• Exhibitions and extensions – Exhibitions on Fellini at Palazzo del Fulgor extended until 3 May; “Riviera Dream Vision” at the Palaces of Art runs until 24 May with multimedia installations and a Virtual Try-on.
• Walks – Sunday hosts a stage of the Cammino di Sant’Antonio (Longiano to Rimini, 29 km) and the six-day route following St. Francis towards La Verna continues; routes are also suitable for independent walkers.
