Vinitaly, scheduled to take place in Verona from 12 to 15 April 2026, is one of the world’s most important events dedicated to the wine sector. Founded in 1967 as the “Giornate del Vino Italiano”, it has evolved over time into an international trade fair that promotes wine culture and facilitates interaction between producers, buyers and enthusiasts. Today it is a global benchmark, with initiatives also taking place in countries such as China, the United States and Russia.
The event offers a packed programme with over 80 events, including masterclasses, tastings, exhibitions and themed sessions. Key highlights include activities dedicated to wine tourism, experiences linked to specific regions such as Valpolicella, and innovative formats such as Raw Wine and Taste Italy. Around 4,000 wineries and 1,000 international buyers are expected to attend, alongside dedicated spaces for mixology, spirits and low- or non-alcoholic products.
Alongside the main fair, “Vinitaly and the City” offers a programme of events combining wine and UNESCO cultural heritage. Admission is subject to a fee, with day tickets or season tickets available for purchase online. The venue is easily accessible by various means of transport.
