Wes Anderson awarded the Fellini Award Rimini 2026

Tuesday 21 April at Teatro Galli Wes Anderson will be presented with the Fellini Award, highlighting the poetic and visual affinity between the American director and Federico Fellini.

The ceremony will feature a public conversation between Anderson and Gian Luca Farinelli, director of the Cineteca di Bologna Foundation, a partner of the initiative. This edition follows the recent recognition given to Alfonso Cuarón.

• Preview: Monday 20 April, 9:00 PM, Cinema Fulgor – screening of Moonrise Kingdom (free entry subject to availability).

The award recognizes the artistic kinship between Anderson and Fellini: a cinema rooted in memory, dream and layered imagery.
