Opening: Saturday April 4 at 5:30 PM. The exhibition runs through April 16, 2026.
The Museo della piccola pesca e delle conchiglie "E' Scaion" in Viserbella presents a selection by painter Ugo Pasini, celebrated for his still lifes and refined use of colour. Under the title "Sea Effect", the show features works that highlight Adriatic and exotic shells, beached boats and weathered hulls, alongside evocative depictions of seagulls in flight that emphasise movement and light.
At the inauguration, Orlando Piraccini will present the exhibition and comment on Pasini's artistic approach, noting the painter's blend of miniature-like precision with harmonious chromatic arrangements.
Born in 1942 in San Mauro in Valle, Ugo Pasini trained with figures such as Alberto Sughi and worked in the studio of Osvaldo Piraccini. He debuted in 1969 with a solo show in Cesena and has since maintained an active exhibition career across local and national venues. Recent highlights include municipal exhibitions in Lugo (2015), Cesena (2017), Sarsina (2019), Brisighella (2023) and Bagno di Romagna (2024), and a compact retrospective presented in 2025 at Officina dell'Arte in Cesena.
This exhibition will appeal to admirers of figurative painting and maritime themes rendered with an intimate, contemplative touch. For practical details about entry and guided visits, please contact the museum directly.
