Parco Giardino Sigurtà celebrates the arrival of spring with the Tulipmania Festival, scheduled for late March to early April. This event showcases one of the most spectacular displays of tulips in Italy, with over 200 varieties spread across the park’s avenues and themed areas, including artistic flowerbeds, floating installations and striking natural scenery.
The park has ancient origins, dating back to 1407, when it belonged to the Contarini family. Over the centuries, it passed to the Guarienti and Maffei families, who transformed it into a romantic English-style garden. After a period of decline, in 1941 the Sigurtà family undertook a major restoration and expansion project, bringing the park’s area to 60 hectares. Opened to the public in 1978, it is now a much-loved destination for its scenic beauty.
During the festival, in addition to the blooms, events such as ‘Artist’s Saturday’ are scheduled, where artists reinterpret the garden’s colours live. The park is open daily and easily accessible, offering an immersive experience in nature, combining art, history and biodiversity.
