The exhibition "Neo Classic Dystopia" has opened in Bologna, marking the artist Svccy's first solo presentation in the Emilia-Romagna region. The works juxtapose classical statue-like figures with hyper-technological urban landscapes, exploring how digital devices and architecture reshape identity and social relations.
The series investigates themes such as loss of individuality, the human-technology relationship, and the interplay between historical memory and digital imagination. People rendered as faceless or partially obscured statues act as evocative motifs within settings that blend classical harmony and urban dystopia.
Svccy's work provides a contemporary reading of classical imagery through digital techniques like collage and 3D graphics. The exhibition is relevant for followers of digital art and contemporary visual research, as well as for those interested in projects that connect historical forms with present-day technological themes.
Active since 2016, Svccy trained in digital collage and expanded into 3D graphics. His output frequently features marble-like human figures—anonymous or partially concealed—questioning identity in modern society. Svccy has presented work internationally through immersive installations and collaborative multimedia projects, consolidating a presence in contemporary digital art venues.
