The galleries L2Arte (Pavia) and HR Docks Gallery (Turin) present Stories, a solo exhibition by Vibo Valentia-born artist Silvestro Bonaventura, hosted in the historic setting of Francolise's Medieval Castle, listed among the FAI's Places of the Heart.

Curated by Rosanna Accordino, the show gathers recent paintings in which the artist narrates personal and shared stories: domestic interiors, everyday objects and intentionally skewed perspectives create scenes that move between realism and a fanciful imagination.

Bonaventura's pictorial identity stands out for contrasting colors, compositions that appear suspended in a fluid space, and a sense of wonder that retains the playful innocence of childhood within an adult perspective.

At the same time as the solo show, the association Oltreforma APS presents the group exhibition Oltreforma Art Prize, an initiative supported by the Municipality of Francolise that promotes local cultural sites and selected contemporary projects chosen by a jury of critics, academics and collectors.

Practical note: admission is free but midweek visits are best arranged by appointment; the opening event is the ideal moment to see the catalogue and meet the prize-winning artists.
