Spring Postcards: Mariano Scardino at Tenute Lu Spada

On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April 2026 Tenute Lu Spada's showroom, located on the final stretch of the ancient Via Appia, becomes an exhibition venue for "Spring Postcards – Enchantments and Greetings of Canvas and Paper", a solo exhibition by Mariano Scardino curated by Guendalina Armenti. The event explores the relationship between material painting and organic winemaking, highlighting the estate's ethical and environmental commitment.

What to expect

The show features works on paper and canvas where humble materials are torn, recolored and recomposed: fragments, collages and marks balancing lightness and tension, evoking landscapes, memories and rural traces. Scardino's "postcards" are intimate visual notes that reflect material transformation in harmony with the scents of the land and wine.

Art and wine in dialogue

For Tenute Lu Spada, wine expresses ethical values and respect for the territory. Pairing Scardino's material artworks with the estate's organic wines creates a sensory itinerary: visual and tasting moments that enhance one another and offer visitors an integrated cultural experience.

Program

  • Saturday, 18 April 2026: morning 11:00–13:00 (opening with the artist present); afternoon 17:00–20:00
