The Fondazione Musei Senesi has started the FMS Academy, a programme designed for recent graduates under 30 that pairs classroom training with practical internships in the network's museums. The initiative aims to build operational skills in heritage management, audience engagement and cultural communication.
The initial stage includes about one month of lectures and workshops led by sector professionals. Key topics covered are:
Internships start with a six-month period, renewable for an additional six months. The initiative is funded by the regional FSE+ Toscana 2021–2027 programme within the Giovanisì initiative and involves collaboration with local authorities and partners.

The FMS Academy eases young professionals' entrance into the cultural heritage sector by combining practical training in conservation, communication and education. It also strengthens ties between local museum institutions, encouraging shared projects and professional exchange.
