Nepentes 2026: Oliena honors Cannonau in its historic center

On 6 June, from 19:00, Oliena will host Nepentes 2026, an evening dedicated to the Nepente Cannonau: tastings, itinerant performances and live music across the historic center and Giardino Calamida. The event highlights local labels alongside artisanal productions preserved by village families.

The streets and ancient wine cellars of this Bandiera Arancione village will become stops on a food-and-wine route enlivened by live bands, tenore singing and street performances. The programme brings together historic wineries and selected small growers chosen by expert juries.

• Small producers: five selected viticulturists chosen by Onav and Ais.
• Music and shows: Laura Pirrigheddu, Patrick & The Slivers and Bette the Band will perform in Giardino Calamida; tenore choirs and local musicians will animate the streets.
• Additional attractions: an exhibition of vintage cars set among the village's most picturesque corners.

Tickets and practical info

The event is organized by Sardegna Eventi and Galaveras in collaboration with the Municipality of Oliena. Purchase the tasting glass in advance via One Ticket Sardegna, at the Galaveras tourist desk on Corso Grazia Deledda, or on the day of the event.

Visitor tips: bring ID, consider buying tickets ahead to avoid queues, and use parking areas outside the historic center for easier access.
