Sherine Naifar — Amore Genetliaco: solo show in Milan
Amore Genetliaco presents Sherine Naifar's recent work at Archivio Rachele Bianchi, where painting, sculpture and sound converge to explore love as a generative and ambivalent force.
- Works: four large, materially rich canvases with layered pigments and dominant red tones; the artist describes them as "emotive creatures" featuring circular gestures.
- Historical dialogue: the exhibition is paired with Rachele Bianchi's sculpture Ricerca (1968), whose spiral form evokes birth and emergence.
- Sound design: an immersive installation by Frank Trace combines recordings from the creative process and symbolic audio materials to expand spatial perception.
- Themes: love as generative energy and conflicted feeling, transformation and resilience.
- Program: part of the Rete Aperta initiative, promoting intergenerational dialogue and supporting emerging female artistic research.
