From 20 to 26 April 2026, Palazzo Bovara hosts Sensory Landscape, an installation by Elle Decor Italia. Conceived by Piero Lissoni with landscape design by Antonio Perazzi and exhibition coordination by netsuke studio, the project foregrounds the five senses to reshape the relationship between people and space.
The concept relies on a deliberate reduction of decorative elements to highlight essential materials, light and visual silence. The layout interweaves nature and the artificial: botanical installations act as living compositional elements, while digital projections blur the boundaries between matter and image.
The exhibition functions as an ecosystem where sound, image, scent and text come together to guide visitors through an emotional and reflective journey. Key contributions include:
The exhibition includes significant artworks spanning different eras, creating a dialogue across languages and cultural layers. The project reaffirms Elle Decor Italia’s curatorial approach in connecting design, art and sensory perception.
The offering also includes a food component by ALMA and Caffè Scala, with a menu inspired by the exhibition themes. Over sixty design companies participate, reinforcing the installation’s role as a reference point during Milan Design Week.
Sensory Landscape is designed for visitors seeking a slow, perceptual experience: a contemporary exploration of the coexistence between nature, technology and materials that encourages pausing and rediscovering the value of measurement in built space.
