From April 1, 2026, the All About Apple Museum in Savona begins a year-long program of events dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Apple's founding. The museum's collection—unique in Italy for its scope and including fully working historic machines—serves as a starting point to explore computing's influence on daily life, work and culture.
The collection originated from materials preserved from the historic Briano shop in Savona and has grown over nearly twenty-five years: vintage computers kept in working order, prototypes, posters, manuals and other Apple-related artefacts. The museum engages with schools, volunteers and researchers to offer educational programs for residents and visitors.
The opening day is aimed at residents, students and tourists with an interest in the history of technology. The Open Day grants free access to the museum with guided activities; seating for the Town Hall event is limited, so early arrival is recommended. The museum's program will continue throughout the year with exhibitions, talks and workshops for diverse audiences.
Note: the museum works in partnership with the City of Savona and the provincial museum network to promote cultural initiatives on innovation, design and local heritage.
