Dreamy Puglia: between magic, sea, and a dinner suspended in the rock

Autore: Redazione 30/07/2025 11:15

Puglia is a land that enchants, with its golden light, the sea scented with salt, and villages that look like they’ve stepped out of a Mediterranean fairytale. Among stretches of centuries-old olive trees and dazzling white beaches, there are truly magical places capable of offering unique experiences. One above all? The Grotta Palazzese restaurant, a gem set into the rock overlooking the sea.

Located in Polignano a Mare, in the heart of the Bari coastline, this romantic restaurant is literally carved inside a natural cave that opens directly onto the Adriatic. Dining here means living a dream suspended between sky and sea, with the soft glow of candles blending with the sound of the waves and the sea breeze caressing your skin.

Grotta Palazzese is one of the most iconic locations in Italy, perfect for a special occasion, a marriage proposal, or simply to be amazed by the authentic beauty of Apulian nature, harmonized with elegant and refined service.

The menu celebrates the excellence of Mediterranean cuisine, with refined seafood dishes and carefully selected local ingredients: raw fish, lobster linguine, white seabream in an herb bread crust — all accompanied by a prestigious wine cellar and a view that takes your breath away.

Grotta Palazzese is located in Polignano a Mare (BA), at Via Narciso 59. It is easily reachable by car along the SS16 Adriatica, or by train arriving at Polignano’s railway station followed by a short walk through the historic center. During summer, booking well in advance is highly recommended due to high demand.
