In the mountain village of Perdasdefogu (Ogliastra), at about 600 meters elevation, "Spring in the heart of Sardinia" returns with a mix of nature, local traditions and outdoor activities. On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May the historic centre will host artisan stalls, tastings, folk music and several guided hikes in the surrounding landscape.
On Saturday 9 the event opens in the morning with stalls and hands-on activities; throughout the day there are tastings, itinerant concerts and evening folk events. Sunday 10 continues from 10:00 with a Mass in traditional dress at 11:00, followed by parades and folk performances in the afternoon.
Perdasdefogu is set among limestone towers, holm oak woods and Mediterranean scrub — an ideal area for outdoor lovers interested in trekking, visiting waterfalls and streams, and exploring natural sites such as Bruncu Santoru Natural Park, where local wildlife restoration efforts are underway.
Note: the schedule may change; consult official updates before planning your visit. The weekend blends popular festivities with initiatives to promote the local landscape and traditional knowledge.
