The Municipality of Pordenone, the Pordenone Tourism Consortium and Federalberghi have formalized a partnership to leverage the city’s designation as Italian Capital of Culture 2027 and boost local hospitality and visitor services.
During a meeting with Tourism and Cultural Policies Councillor Alberto Parigi, partners outlined promotional actions and stressed the need for shared planning that engages all stakeholders in the tourism supply chain.
The Consortium, together with PromoTurismoFVG, will oversee external promotion, while Federalberghi will coordinate the accommodation sector to assure quality and readiness. Organisers note that similar promotional actions in the past yielded positive effects, particularly in the long term.
The stated aim is to turn the cultural recognition into concrete economic and identity benefits for Pordenone and the wider province through coordinated efforts by institutions, tourism operators and local municipalities.
