Filming in Fermano: “Mi fermo qui” turns historic residences into film sets

Filming began on 7 April 2026 for the short Mi fermo qui, part of the Dimore in cerca d’autore project that links cinema with the promotion of Marche's historic heritage.

The short, written and directed by Paolo Consorti with Anna Olivucci, stages a narrative journey through three historic residences, showcasing locations from coast to inland hills. Production is by Piceni Art For Job, and the initiative is supported by the Marche Region under the PR FESR 2021-2027 programme.

• Main locations: Palazzo Romani Adami and Piazza del Popolo in Fermo, Villa Clarice, Palazzo Alaleona, Montegiorgio theatre.
• Cast and crew: Denise Tantucci, Victor Carlo Vitale; music by Daniele Di Bonaventura; fully Marche-based production.
• Purpose: to promote historic residences and foster experiential routes linked to cineturismo and territorial marketing.

Presented in part at the Venice Film Festival in 2023, the project underscores cinema’s potential to enhance visibility of lesser-known sites and attract sustainable cultural tourism, turning heritage into lived experiences as well as screen narratives.
