Overview

For three days the green areas of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii become a fair focused on Mediterranean agricultural supply chains. The event links tradition with sustainable innovation, highlighting seasonality, biodiversity protection and short supply chains.

Main programme

• Stalls: exhibition and sale of typical products, artisanal processing and short supply chains.
• Opening conference: 15 April, Park Auditorium — meeting with scholars and institutional representatives (free entry until seats are exhausted).
• G.R.E.E.N. international conference: 16–17 April, Auditorium — focus on gardens as a resource for enhancing environmental and natural heritage.
• Demonstration projects: practical examples of circular economy, organic farming and landscape protection practices by local partners.

The initiative is promoted with the involvement of Azienda Agricola Pompei (Agros S.r.l. Società Agricola) and coordinated by the Office for the Enhancement of Green Areas of the Archaeological Park, supported by the director and the technical team for setups and activities.
