Percorsi Spericolati 2026: 28 young people working to regenerate Italy's inland areas

The fifth edition of Percorsi Spericolati has begun. The training and project pathway brings together young people from across Italy to work on regeneration initiatives for inland and mountain territories. The project is promoted by the Pietro Pittini Foundation with Meraki and Magma Social Enterprise.

• Residential week: from 8 to 15 March 2026 in Valbruna (Val Saisera), where participants started training and on-site immersion activities.
• Participants: 28 young people selected from 11 regions, who will develop project proposals in the following months with tutors and experts.
• Local partners: collaboration with local authorities and businesses in Carnia, including the Municipality of Paluzza, SECAB, Carniaflex, Caseificio Sociale Alto But, Cooperativa Malghesi and Birrificio Bondai.
• Remote phase: from March to May 2026 teams will work remotely to refine their proposals with specialist support.
• Final event: public presentation scheduled for Saturday 9 May 2026 in the municipality of Paluzza (UD).

Marina Pittini, president of the Pietro Pittini Foundation, says the aim is to train «a new generation of local development agents» able to turn ideas into concrete opportunities for Italy's mountain areas.
