Official schedule (April 3–5)

• Good Friday, April 3 – 21:15 at the Church of Sant'Antonio Abate: the ceremony of the "Seven Last Words of Jesus on the Cross", followed by "A Scisa a Cruci". The evening ends with the solemn procession "U Signuri a Cascia" crossing the village.
• Holy Saturday, April 4 – 16:00: the traditional "Lamentu do Sabatu Santu". Later in Piazza Francesco Crispi the handing over of the Sciaccare (cane torches) made by local scouts. From 21:00 the stands of the Ricotta and Cassatelle Festival open. At midnight the "A Sciacciariata" begins: the Risen Christ exits the Church of Carmine amid fire and lights, launching a night of performances that culminate in Piazza San Sebastiano.
• Easter Sunday, April 5 – 05:30: dawn Mass and procession of the "Sette Vaneddi". At 12:00 on the Via Sacra the famous "U Scontru": the moving encounter between the Risen Christ and the Mother, with musical pieces by Maestro Francesco Pandolfo and the voice of Sebastiana Sanzio.
