Italy Pavilion: "Con te con tutto" — Chiara Camoni

From 9 May to 22 November 2026 the Italy Pavilion participates in the 61st International Art Exhibition — La Biennale di Venezia — with Con te con tutto, a site‑specific project by artist Chiara Camoni curated by Cecilia Canziani. The installation occupies the Tese delle Vergini at the Arsenale and proposes a sensory, contemplative route centered on relationships between form, material and life.

What to expect

The pavilion is transformed into a shifting landscape: a «forest» of ceramic figures, life‑sized terracotta sculptures and hybrid presences that evoke minor divinities or natural forms in metamorphosis. New works coexist with existing pieces reactivated through the addition of recycled plastics, industrial offcuts and found objects to narrate the contemporary environment and the beauty found in discarded matter.

  • Dates: 9 May – 22 November 2026
  • Venue: Arsenale, Tese delle Vergini, Italy Pavilion, Venice
  • Artist: Chiara Camoni
  • Curator: Cecilia Canziani
  • Commissioner: Angelo Piero Cappello

Installation features

Works are often hand‑built (colombino) or assembled from many small terracotta parts and are shown in subdued lighting to encourage an intimate encounter. Some pieces incorporate natural elements — shrubs, shells, stones — as well as recovered waste gathered near the artist’s studio, underlining practices of reuse and semantic reworking.

Works on display (examples)

  • Sister (Capanna) (2022) — black terracotta, iron, fresh and dried flowers; variable dimensions.
  • A series of more than twenty ceramic figures arranged like a forest that visitors can walk through, inviting a bodily relationship with space.

Visitor information

The exhibition benefits from a slow, attentive visit to appreciate material details and atmospheres. Check the Biennale’s official channels or the Italy Pavilion for up‑to‑date information on opening hours, tickets and accessibility prior to your visit.

Why visit

"Con te con tutto" proposes a perspective on contemporary sculpture rooted in craftsmanship and collective practice, where memory and experimentation meet. The project explores the hybrid border between human, animal and sacred, offering a poetic and concrete reflection on our present.
