Otello Cenci to lead Confcooperative Culture, Tourism and Sport Emilia-Romagna

Otello Cenci, 55, a director, author and creative director, has been elected president of the Confcooperative Culture, Tourism and Sport Federation of Emilia-Romagna. The vote concluded the regional assembly held in Bologna.

The Federation represents cooperatives active in cultural production, tourism services and sports activities. According to its figures, the network includes 149 cooperatives, 9,125 members and 1,869 employees.

• Position: president of the regional federation.
• Background: president of the Made Officina Creativa cooperative based in Rimini; director and head of Shows for the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples in Rimini since 1998.
• Priorities: strengthening networks, valuing people and promoting cultural welfare as a tool for inclusion and territorial development.

"My commitment is simple and concrete: to work together, valuing the people willing and interested to do so," Cenci said, highlighting cooperation’s role in creating shared well-being and culture-led local projects.
