European Night of Museums 2026 in Turin — Saturday 23 May

On Saturday, 23 May 2026, Turin joins the European Night of Museums with special evening openings at museums, historic residences and exhibition spaces. The event features free entries, symbolic tickets and reduced admission fees to explore permanent collections, temporary shows and guided routes after hours.

Participating museums (overview and fees)

  • Villa della Regina: symbolic ticket €1; open 18:00–21:30 (last admission 21:00).
  • Musei Reali: €1 entry for the evening; extended evening opening (times may vary).
  • Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano: €1 entry from 18:00 to 20:30 (last admission 19:45); guided tours at 18:00 and 19:00 with a €5 fee including the ticket.
  • Regional Museum of Natural Sciences: free activities by reservation with shifts in late afternoon and evening (e.g. 17:30–19:00 and 20:30–22:00).
  • Infinito – Planetarium of Turin: free sessions at fixed times (e.g. 20:30 and 21:30); booking procedures apply.
  • National Museum of Cinema: open late until 22:00 (last admission 21:00); reduced fare available from 19:00.
  • Museo Lombroso, Museum of Human Anatomy, Fruit Museum: open continuously from 10:00 to 23:00; guided tours from 18:00 free of charge in small groups without booking.
  • Le Nuove Prison: evening guided visits with a €1 contribution; reservation required and limited places; route lasts about 1 hour 50 minutes.
  • GAM – Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery: special opening 18:00–22:00; reduced fare (e.g. €9) applies for the evening; ticket office closes one hour earlier.
  • MAO – Museum of Oriental Art: open 18:00–22:00; reduced fare (e.g. €11) for collections and exhibitions, last admission at 21:00.
  • Palazzo Madama: evening opening 18:00–22:00; reduced fare (e.g. €11); ticket office closes at 21:00.
  • Gallerie d’Italia Turin: special opening 20:00–24:00 with €1 entry; featuring the exhibition dedicated to Nick Brandt.

Plan ahead by selecting two or three venues to visit. Check closing times and booking requirements for activities with limited capacity. Remember that many ticket offices stop selling tickets about one hour before closing, so arriving early reduces the risk of being turned away.
