Naples hosted the city's first edition of Bach in the Subways, an international initiative dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach, organized locally by the Associazione Culturale Armonia from Pescolanciano (Molise). The event turned public spaces and daily routes into open stages, bringing major classical repertoire closer to residents and passersby.
The program highlighted the contribution of young performers: students from the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella, the Conservatorio Lorenzo Perosi and the Liceo Musicale Galanti took turns during morning and afternoon performances, demonstrating technical skill and interpretive maturity.
The afternoon session, with its participatory format, was especially appreciated: musicians and listeners created spontaneous performances, capturing the informal and inclusive spirit of the international project.
The success of the event was seen as a positive sign for Molise’s cultural promotion beyond regional borders, highlighting the role that local organizations can play in presenting musical projects with national and international reach.
